Visiting days for CNY is finally over.On New year eve, we had steamboat and grilled at home.so delicious and there were alot of food so the next day we still can have foe lunch cos this year no need go church.The 1st day...went to my father side of the family to visit.1st we went to my big uncle.The people there are so stupid...i let Spring wore a dress and have a ribbon on her head and they still can ask whether is it a girl or boy...it is so obvious.Then we went to my 2nd uncle hse.The ppl there still better then the 1st.After that we went home.On the 2nd day,my dad has to wake up very early to go buy fish cos it is our cantonese tradition to "kai nian" as in th start the new year.Then we must have our lunch at home before we go out.After lunch, we went to my grandma hse for visiting.Everybody there said my new hairstyle is nice so i might just keep it.We had steamboat again.Then this year everyone have to leave quite early bcos there's school the next day orelse we would have stayed till very very late.cos last year we left at 3am.After that, no visiting till friday.We went to Jenny aunty place who is my cousin aunt.Luckily we did not had steamboat...she cooked curry,soup and other delicious stuff.After dinner, we played blackjack and the biggest winner was the host.I lost until i bankrupt for the day :(. The next day,sat, people come and visit us.I woke up quite early to help my mum with the food preparation.We always have congee cooked by my mum.2 big pots for over 20people.My dad baked 2 chicken and my mum also made chicken wine.My dad bought some sashimi fish and yusheng for "lo hei".I love lo hei.We only invite people from my mum side cos we are closer.The 1st to arrive is my mum older sister and her son and his family.The next is my grandma and my god family then is linda jie jie.Some of them didnt stay for dinner.Then is my cousin's aunts,aunty jenny and alice.Eventhough we are not really related, we are quite close.Then we had our "lo hei" first then everyone just sat down for dinner.After dinner, some went to play majong and others played blackjack.Starting i lost some money but then my dad suggested playing bingo which we got free when we bought abalone.We played and the first round i won and 1 round win is $14 and after that, i won again.so i won back the money that i lost the other day.Bingo quite fun and the last round, which everyone is to put in $2 and the total is $36 and it was won by aunty alice.she so lucky.After that evryone went home.I we have to wait till next year.

Happy 2009 to all my dear friends!!!
Haven been blogging for some time.let's start with christmas eve.We had a small gathering to celebrate christmas where i called my ah ma, god family and aunt to have dinner and exchange present.my parents ordered a turkey and premium smoked ham from ntuc.My dad caked another ham incase not enough to eat ant i made mashed potato from martha stewart reciepe.my mum also made salad and my aunt made colestraw.I also made chicken ball for my baby spring.They day before, i baked cookie.i baked the brown sugar chocolate chips from also martha stewart.They cookie is a success and it taste good :). I also baked a sweet potatoes biscuit and banana oat muffins for Spring and Waffle.After dinner, we had log cake and they played majong till 3am.
New Year eve.....We stayed at home this year as every year we will go over to downtown east for countdown.So just the 5 of us.Spring ate brown rice.My dad made ripeye and stirlion steak for us ,and also a traditional potatoes and a chicken.Springhill was having a party but we did not join.Not only us, alot of the neighbours did not join too.So we this year had a quiet countdown.
Next is my mum birthday.We celebrated on 2nd of jan with my god famil cos my god father's birthday is 1 day before my mum's which is on the 4th jan.We went to harbourcity chinese restaurant.We had ala-carte buffet.the food there okay but the msg very alot.after eating, felt damn thirsty and had sor thorat.So happi birthday to sister and brother!!!

Hey pepps...let's start with nov 22nd.I celebrated my birthday early cos it falls on a weekday and my bro will be having exams soon.invited my god family for dinner.my dad cooks up a wonderful meal with potatoes and chicken.so delicious.My parents bought 2 birthday cakes for me,1 is durian ad the other is chocolate. cos my bro dont eat durian.
Dec 7...hmmm....where do i start.....ok....met my dearest moronic friends to celebrate my and huishi birthday at causeway pt.We met up for movie first.huishi and i went up to the cinema 1st while bib and mar went to cold storage.we met sally 1st.wanted to buy the tix 1st but when i wanted to use the fairprice visa card, we have to produce the fairprice receipt which is so troublesome and who the hell will know that.so went to plan B.we asked the sales person what other card could be used and she said UOB card.so i remembered my mum had this card and quickly called her cos she and my dad drove me here.using the UOB card, we have $2 off so we paid $8 for it.After watching Wildchild which is quite a nice show, we went for dinner at 5pm at seoul garden to eat and met up with zihui and sal's bf.we start eating till 8+pm and then bib, mar, sal secretly went out and when they came back, they bought apple strudel for us.We sing birthday song and cut the "cake".After dinner, we went to macdonald to chill and chit chat.After that we went home.
Dec 13...baby spring's birthday....she is 3 years old!!!!!She is so damn cute....After lunch, i cut her strawberry flavored cake which we bought the day before.She was so happy and for dinner, we brought her to urban pooch which is place for dogs and human to chill.ordered the chicken ball for her...she so happy.....

Blogging...blogging...blogging....after so long.Let's start with nov 1. Before that on Halloween Day, my parents and I first went to hand in my GP then we went to Sheng Shiong to buy the ingredients for next day barbecue. After buying, we went home and my dad start to wash and divide the food.After washing, he marinated it for us. Nov 1.My mum washed to the sweet potatoe and potatoes ,and i help to wrap it up with aluminium foil. My dad continued with his marinating and wrap up the sotong and sting ray with banana leafs. Around 4+pm, my big aunt arrived then at around 5+pm, my ah ma and god family arrived. After a few minutes, bib, mar and sal arrived. Then we star barbecue and chit-chat. I walk up and down like almost 10 times bringing the food back home,getting butter, drinks etc. until my legs were so tired after the barbecue and i stink. The barbecue is a success. So now i know bbq cannot invite too many people...hahaha....
Nov 2, went to Linda jie jie's baby boy's, Adent, one month celebration.We went dont know where for lunch. The food there not that nice.
Nov 9, we went out to celebrate my bro's 24th birthday. we went to Modesto at Vivo City. It served Italian food.Firstly, we ordered the Appetizer which is the BRUSCHETTA AL POMODORO E BASILICO (Grilled farm bread topped with fresh diced tomatoes, basil, garlic and oregano).This one nice to eat. Then we ordered pastas which is the SPAGHETTI ALLA CARBONARA (Spaghetti with pork bacon, egg yolk and parmesan cheese in cream sauce) and RAVIOLONI DI PESCE AL POMODORO (Fresh home-made pasta filled with minced prawn and crabmeat in fresh tomato sauce), and LASAGNA ALL' EMILIANA (Fresh home-made lasagna layered with minced beef and bechamel sauce,oven-baked and gratinated with parmesan cheese). The carbonara is nicer than the other store and the ravioloni, i dont really like it.Then we ordered the pizza which is the PIZZA PROSCIUTTO CRUDO E RUCOLA (Tomato, cheese, Italian pork parma ham and fresh rucola salad). This pizza is quite nice. Then we order the desserts. The desserts there are really nice. We ordered TIRAMISU MODESTO'S (The original version of mascarpone cheese, espresso,savoiardi fingers and coffee liqueur) and STRAVAGANZA AL CIOCCOLATO CON GELATO ALLA VANIGLIA (Home-made Italian chocolate brownie served warm and topped with vanilla ice-cream). My parents and bro ordered Tiger beer to drink and i ordered apple juice. The dessert there can go eat again. Then the next day, we cut my bro's birthday cake.

On 11/10 sat, we went to River View Hotel for dinner to celebrate my dad's birthday.The food there ok for me but i love the sashimi....it is so fresh and tasty.We went with my god bro,clarence, and we ate until my stomach nearly burst.I really want to eat the sashimi again.
On 12/10 sun, we stayed at hm to celebrate my dad's actual birthday.we had steamboat and again i ate until my stomach nearly burst.Anf my dad baked a chicken...dunno what malay style....
Nov1 got BBQ at my hse with some close friends and family.

Finally finish my exam.1st paper was MMR.very difficult for this one...don't even if can pass.2nd paper was PM....quite ok for this one then the last paper was ASPM.....i wrote 4 pgs for the 1st qn,3 for 3rd and 4th pg and 2 for last qn.First time wrote so long.Now still got GP to do...sian. Finally change handphone after 4yrs.so happy.....thinking of organizing a bbq but dunno wen yet....nothing much to say...

Let's start with sat.Went out to celebrate mar's 21st birthday.Arrived at Orchard Mrt at 2.15pm then called mar but she will be late for 30mins so decided to go taka's kinokuniya first.While walking, suddenly, got someone tap my shoulder.Turned around and a woman said to me that their company is looking for new face and said that i have style,and gave me a creative talent name card.After talking to her,i continued my journey to taka. Reach taka and went to the pet's section.After a few minutes, sally called and i met her at Far East plaza.We went walking for a while, while waiting for the birthday girl.After mar arrived, we went round looking for sally's and mar's birthday presents.Sally bought a bag and mar bought a sandle.After that we went to bugis to wait for bib.After bib arrived, we walked to Haji Lane to break fast and have our dinner.After breaking fast, we went to a restuarant(i forgot the name) and the price there is so bloodily expensive so we just ordered a jug of ice lemon tea and some wedges ans quickly left the money sucking place.After that we went to another to have dinner.We ate our dinner and sat around to chitchat, and after that we went home.
Last Wednesday,it's my parent's 25th wedding anniversary.We went to Kublai Khan Mongolia BBQ restaurant for dinner.The food there okay but i still preferred Sakura's international.I ate alot of sashimi which is my favorite. My dad bought my mum a diamond ring.Then ate until my stomach nearly exploded.After that we went home,cut cake for this once in a life time day.Happy 25th Anniversary to Mummy and Daddy!!!
