Blogging...blogging...blogging....after so long.Let's start with nov 1. Before that on Halloween Day, my parents and I first went to hand in my GP then we went to Sheng Shiong to buy the ingredients for next day barbecue. After buying, we went home and my dad start to wash and divide the food.After washing, he marinated it for us. Nov 1.My mum washed to the sweet potatoe and potatoes ,and i help to wrap it up with aluminium foil. My dad continued with his marinating and wrap up the sotong and sting ray with banana leafs. Around 4+pm, my big aunt arrived then at around 5+pm, my ah ma and god family arrived. After a few minutes, bib, mar and sal arrived. Then we star barbecue and chit-chat. I walk up and down like almost 10 times bringing the food back home,getting butter, drinks etc. until my legs were so tired after the barbecue and i stink. The barbecue is a success. So now i know bbq cannot invite too many people...hahaha....
Nov 2, went to Linda jie jie's baby boy's, Adent, one month celebration.We went dont know where for lunch. The food there not that nice.
Nov 9, we went out to celebrate my bro's 24th birthday. we went to Modesto at Vivo City. It served Italian food.Firstly, we ordered the Appetizer which is the BRUSCHETTA AL POMODORO E BASILICO (Grilled farm bread topped with fresh diced tomatoes, basil, garlic and oregano).This one nice to eat. Then we ordered pastas which is the SPAGHETTI ALLA CARBONARA (Spaghetti with pork bacon, egg yolk and parmesan cheese in cream sauce) and RAVIOLONI DI PESCE AL POMODORO (Fresh home-made pasta filled with minced prawn and crabmeat in fresh tomato sauce), and LASAGNA ALL' EMILIANA (Fresh home-made lasagna layered with minced beef and bechamel sauce,oven-baked and gratinated with parmesan cheese). The carbonara is nicer than the other store and the ravioloni, i dont really like it.Then we ordered the pizza which is the PIZZA PROSCIUTTO CRUDO E RUCOLA (Tomato, cheese, Italian pork parma ham and fresh rucola salad). This pizza is quite nice. Then we order the desserts. The desserts there are really nice. We ordered TIRAMISU MODESTO'S (The original version of mascarpone cheese, espresso,savoiardi fingers and coffee liqueur) and STRAVAGANZA AL CIOCCOLATO CON GELATO ALLA VANIGLIA (Home-made Italian chocolate brownie served warm and topped with vanilla ice-cream). My parents and bro ordered Tiger beer to drink and i ordered apple juice. The dessert there can go eat again. Then the next day, we cut my bro's birthday cake.
